Elliston - Submitted 03/03/2001 by Troy Taylor
Fishing in Anxious Bay has been very productive for good sized garfish. Off the beach, a few mullet and whiting are also being caught.

The Elliston Jetty has produced huge catches of tommies for some during the week, and they are all of a large size.

Gents are the go, best after dark or early in the morning.

Don't forget to take a squid jag with you, as there are plenty of squid in the bay at the moment.

Locks Well has been a bit slow this last week.

Those that have persisted have come in with a few Salmon of various sizes, but nothing to speak of.

Sheringa has been producing plenty of Salmon in the 3kg+ range.

Out in the boat, the whiting have been very touchy, with very few reports of good catches.

Snapper out from Walkers Rocks are just of legal size.
